What we do
Rock the Boat! is a non-profit project aimed to bring education & skillsharing to join the dots between climate change, communities, fossil fuels, industry, environmental racism & climate justice.
Many of the stories and exercises are from 1st hand experience working with a range of communities and people from all over the word affected by fossil fuels & climate change.
Check out the Schools Community Groups & Sessions pages to see what fits your group, class or community the best. And don’t worry if you don’t have a group – maybe we can help you form one.
The sessions are run by donations, so we only ask that you donate toward the project running costs and transport if you are able to.
SCHOOLS: For schools the project brings different ideas & engaging creative ways to spark interest in climate change and a range of social & environmental issues.
COMMUNITY GROUPS & ACTIVIST SPACES: The pro- ject provide tools to bring in new people, work out who ally with, begin to make con- nections, spread information and gain stronger inter-group knowledge, communication & trust. The ends of sessions are usually put aside to make a facilitated space to discuss and promote local campaigns & sustainable living solutions.
